It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Emilia Piazza on Wednesday, October 5, 2022, at the age of 101 years.

Emilia will be forever remembered by her daughter, Adeline “Graziella” Cairo; grandchildren, Benjamin (Michelle) Cairo and Timothy Cairo (Juliana Vanderpluym); great-grandchildren, Ella Cairo, Anthony Cairo and Marcus Cairo.

She was predeceased by her husband, Tarcisio; son-in-law, Anthony S. Cairo; as well as her sisters, brothers and extended family in Italy.

Funeral Mass Tuesday, October 11, 2022, at 10 a.m. at Santa Maria Goretti Roman Catholic Church, 9110 - 110 Avenue NW, Edmonton. Reverend Father Roy Antony, CFIC officiating with entombment in Holy Cross Mausoleum.
