With the greatest of sadness, we announce the passing of Jonathan Naicker of Edmonton, AB, on September 28, 2018.
After defying the odds and surviving a horrific motor vehicle accident in October 1990, Johnny continued to live life to the fullest despite any physical and cognitive hurdles he faced. This was apparent in the magnetism he exhibited to all those who had the privilege of encountering him. He always had a ready smile and open heart. Unfortunately, that open and warm heart tired.
Johnny is survived by his loving and caring parents, Angappa and Manorama Naicker; and sisters, Nancy (Brent) and Nicole. He is also survived by nephews. Mark (Franki), Matthew (Amanda), Kyle and Hunter; nieces, Gracie and Amaya; great-niece, Emily; grandmother, Ellama Prasad; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. “Johnny 5” is also remembered by a myriad of friends – past and present. Predeceased by his maternal grandfather, paternal grandmother, aunts, uncles and cousins.
The family would like to thank each and every one for all their kindness in thoughts, word and deed. Without it, we would be unable to make it through this trying time.
