Relatives and friends. I have left,

George (aka Piny) was my best friend and a Dad I never had. I have known Piny since I was 15 years old and we were hardly ever apart for long periods of time. He was family to me through good times and bad! He will be missed by many and he was just too young to die. I don't think we are ever ready or wanting our loved ones to go, especially in tragic circumstances. My heart and condolences go out to his children, Desmond and Natasha and his grandson Anthony. Never forget how much he cared for you, as we talked about you all regularly. Piny was kindhearted, timid, protective, hard working, smart and stubborn at times. He had lots of love for animals, especially his pig that he had for a while...lol, thought he was kidding when he said he had a pet pig until I saw it in his jeep traveling with it wherever he went. Piny was a joy to be around and I will miss him...good bye my friend.

Years ago, George and I carpooled together when we worked at Coverbar. I supplied the car and George supplied the humor.I was the one that benefited most from this arrangement!!
Several years later I enjoyed George's company again when he contracted his services at the Genesee Power Plant. It has been sometime since I last saw George,but I never forgot nor will I forget his warmth, good heartedness and humor. I am so very sorry for your lost.

Your dad was an amazing man we last spoke a few weeks ago and he was smiling and giving me body building tips.!i have known your dad for 30 years I call him a legend as he will always be remembered as the fit friendly amazing man many hearts are broken of this news. Our deepest condolences to you all. Until we meet again my Mr Miyagi

I'd run into George working out at Commonwealth or Grand Trunk over the last thirty years or so. He was always a great guy to talk to - and one of the friendliest people you could hope to run into. With his experience as a bodybuilder, his advice was always very useful. He was in such great shape, it was hard to believe he was 74 years old. He will certainly be missed by a lot of people.
